Among other things, we discussed spacetime diagrams, [RQ3]10/[RQ2]10 and used this to discuss the twin paradox: problem 3.11 in [C], new edition.

- Exercise 4:

Among other things we finished problem Oe1 3a. The second half was "räknestuga" = session to ask questions.

- Exercise 5:

The first half was dedicated to the mid term test (KS1) and in the second half we discussed the equivalence principle, problem [C] 4.1a/3.1a. We also calculated relativistic corrections to the GPS system in problem [C] 4.3/3.4

- Exercise 6:

We discussed analytical mechanics, problem Oe2 1, and how to use this to find the shortest path (geodesic), in problem Oe2 3. We also did [C] 4.1/5.1 and 4.4a/5.4a, (b) to be done next time.

- Exercise 7:

Most of the time was spent on how one can embed a 3-dimensional sphere (k=1) and pseudosphere (k=-1) into a 4-dimensional flat space. We also finished [C] 4.4/5.4 and also discussed a way for an observer living in curved space could measure the curvature by measuring the relationship between radius and circumference of a cirle, in [C] 5.9/4.9
